A customer approached me to make three custom chopping boards as presents to celebrate wedding dates of there friends.
The spec was;
- Oak
- Cricket batt shape/style
- Food Safe
- Dates cut into the timber and infilled
The shape was custom made by myself and used to cut the shape out of American White Oak, all three boards came out of the same plank of timber. The dates were CNC cut with a modern font and then infilled with a food safe water clear resin. The boards were sanded and finished with Holzol food safe worktop oil.
